vorte-cheese

Between the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas we stopped off in a really lovely valley just north of Sedona with our neighbours from camping in Yellowstone, Dan and Natasha.  Sedona is even more far out than Totnes, it is apparently home to a lot of "energy" with a number of vortexes within a few miles of the town - or vorte-cheeses as Natasha called them!

Being a huge cynic Ralph dismissed the energy vortexes as likely to be places that were nice and warm with good views of nice scenery, but we decided that we had to try one out to be sure - it turned out to be a nice warm place with a brilliant view

Great campsite, it even had a skunk, the first one we've seen.  He trundled round the campsite once it got dark, some people got upset and made a big fuss but we thought he was brilliant especially when he came looking for morsels under our picnic table all black and white brushy hair and big tail.

We got caught in a vortex while trying to gather positive energy for Las Vegas later that day

It is a little known fact that the Village People were a very spiritual band

The town of Sedona, can you feel the energy

Om

what a sight

A hamstring injury for flexible Ralph!

feeling the power of the vortex

The guy in the middle is dressed as a cowboy and somewhat inexplicably wore spurs on his feet for a jeep tour of the surrounding area

There were lots of crystal shops in town

Humvee tours were also available for total idiots
